Susana Ramirez Blanco was called home by our Heavenly Father on Aug. 23, 2023, at the age of 92.

Visitation will be Aug. 28, from 12-7 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend,301 N. Main Street in Fort Stockton. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. also at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend. Funeral service will be Aug. 29, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 403 S. Main Street in Fort Stockton. Interment to immediately follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.

Susana was a lifelong resident of Fort Stockton. Susana was born on Sept. 19, 1930, to Bernabe Lujan Ramirez and Candida Martinez Sosa in Fort Stockton. Growing up, Susana attended FSISD schools. Susana later married the love of her life Pablo Lugo Blanco, Jr. on Aug. 3, 1948. Susana was a well-known businesswoman and owned her own business for many years.

Susana is preceded in death by her parents Bernabe and Candida Ramirez; husband Pablo Blanco Jr.; daughter Martha Blanco Garcia and unborn child; sister Socorro R Celaya; brothers Isaac Ramirez, and Ricardo Ramirez.

Susana is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Daughter Oralia (Reynaldo) Mesa; grandchildren Ray (Sylvia) Mesa, Ronnie Mesa, Kathy (Mando) Morales, Matthew Mesa, and Gabriel (Stephanie) Mesa; great grandchildren Christopher, Jeremy, Kelsy, Regine, Brandon, Sierra, Jazmin, Sebastian, Damian, Isaiah, and Briana. Daughter Dolores Blanco (Nino) Flores; grandchildren Ricardo (Kenya) Flores, Reuben (Vernice) Flores; great grandchildren Nathalia and Ricardo Jr. Flores; son Jesse (Elidia) Blanco; grandchildren Vanessa (Sam) Campo, Amanda (Michael) Martin, Sarah Cantu; great grandchildren Joseph and Arabella Campo, Caleb and Colton Cantu, Bailey, and Brayden Martin; son Daniel (Lee) Blanco, grandchildren Rebecca (Alvino) Ureste, Paul (Felice) Blanco, Daniel (Tracey) Blanco Jr.; great grandchildren Tristan Ureste, Quinten Ureste, Aerabella Ureste, Paul Blanco and son Noah Blanco, Alayna Finch, Daniel Blanco III, Lani Blanco; great-great grandchild Aziel Sanchez; daughter Josephine Blanco, (Joe C.) Pacheco; grandchild Magdalene P. (Bobby) Hernandez, Jacob (Karina) Pacheco, Patricia (Marcelino) Rodriguez; great grandchildren Jeremiah Vela, Adrain Vela, Samantha P. Vela, Victor Vicente Vela, Jacob Pacheco Jr., Kaitlynn Pacheco, Isaiah Galindo, Olivia Galindo, Daniella Rodriguez, Gabriella Rodriguez; great-great grandchildren Eddie Vela, Jeremiah Vela Jr., Siennah Vela, Izabella Armendariz, Adrianna Vela, Zachary Vela, Elijah Vela, Enoch Vela, Diego Falcon, Analeigh Falcon, Diondra Luevano, Isabella Rodriguez, and Titus Galindo; siblings Reyes S. Ramirez and Senaida R. Scott.
