Juan V. Garcia 91, of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away March 12, 2024. Juan Garcia was born Jan. 28, 1933, in La Esmeralda, Coahuila, Mexico to Juan Garcia and Juana De La Cruz.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 1-5 p.m.at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend, 301 North Main Street in Fort Stockton, with a second visitation Monday, March 18, 2024, at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend from Noon-7 p.m. with rosary starting at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 10 a.m. at St. Jospeh’s Catholic Church, 401 North Main Street in Fort Stockton.

Juan was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Carlota Flores Garcia; second wife, Lucia Garza Garcia; sisters Maria Farias De La Cruz, of Mexico; Maria Isabel G. Farias, of Eagle Pass, Texas; Juana Marta Farias De La Cruz, of Mexico; grandson, Jose Rodrigo Lane, and many other children and grandchildren.

Even though he had no children of his own he had an abundance of family that he deeply loved and cared for. Juan was a loving and caring individual. He will be greatly missed by those surviving him.

Pallbearers will include Tim Jimenez, Fabian Lane, Felix Garza, Noe Garza, Joel Garza and Manuel Jimenez.
