Fort Stockton Community Theatre announces performances of “Smoke on the Mountain,” a musical written by Connie Ray, conceived by Alan Bailey, and directed by Penny Smith. Musical arrangements are by Mike Craver and Mark Hardwick.

The musical stars local talent Eli Schoenfeldt as Pastor Mervin Oglethorpe and the Sanders Family Revival Group: Jody and Randy Day as Vera and Burl Sanders, Sarah and Michael Shuttleworth as Aunt and Uncle Sanders, Michele Huckaby and Marcos Mendoza III as the twins Denise and Dennis Sanders, and Tracy Alexander as June Sanders. Wayne Nix makes his debut with FSCT as song leader Buford Wayne.

The show will open in the Nelson Street Theatre Friday, March 3, at 7:00 p.m. Dinner Theatre, featuring brisket by Shad Schoenfeldt and potluck dishes (just like an oldfashioned church revival meeting) provided by FSCT Board of Directors, will be Saturday, March 4 at 7 p.m. in FMH.

A Sunday matinee will be held at 2:00 p.m. on March 5, and final weekday performances will be March 6 through March 8 at 7:00 p.m. each day.

Doors will open thirty minutes before the curtain.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors (65+) and students.

Dinner theatre tickets, which includes dinner and the show, are $30 each and must be prepaid online at fscommunitytheatre. org or call Alice Duerksen at 336-3180 for reservations by noon on Tuesday, February 28.

All tickets are available online for credit card purchase. Tickets at the door are cash or check only. Call 336-3180 for more information.

Plan to enjoy this good old-fashioned, toetapping, hand-clapping revival with your favorite FSCT actors.
