John Ball of Garland spent a handful of days here in Fort Stockton. Stepping out of his 1964 C10 Chevy he said, "I came here to celebrate Thanksgiving with some family."
He walked toward the back of his truck and continued, "I love coming to Fort Stockton. It's a great place and there's a lot of great history here."
Looking toward his sister Linda Ball, he added, "There's a lot of great people who live here too."
In regards to his many bumper stickers, Ball jokingly suggested, "Some of these bumper stickers could get you shot." After a brief chuckle he further explained, "Oh, they're just a bunch of political stickers and a few others."
Doing a roll call from Rick Perry to Christian radio station 94.1 FM KLTY, Ball showed much pride in his back window gallery.
Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, Ball plans to drive down to Fort Davis to do some work and to enjoy some crisp Davis Mountain air.
