Fort Stockton Community Theatre announces that reservations for Dinner Theatre for the production of “A Doublewide, Texas Christmas” will be taken beginning Monday, Nov. 26, at Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce.
Dinner Theatre will be on opening night of the play, Saturday, December 8, at 7 p.m. A traditional Christmas turkey dinner will be prepared and served by Michelle and Sal Salazar, Kathy and Randall Montanez, Tracy and Chris Alexander, Teresa Ballard, Belva Houston, Kay Griffith, and Michele Huckaby. Ticket prices are $30 per person for the dinner and the show. Seating is limited to fifty; so get your tickets by 4 p.m. Monday, December 3.
The play, written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten and directed by Alice Duerksen, stars (in order of appearance) Gail Lampier, Pam Palileo, Jordan Rychlik, Dean Duerksen, Tracy Alexander, Juan Vasquez, Michelle Salazar, Kathy Montanez, and Ray Griffith. Penny Smith and Kay Griffith keep things running smoothly backstage. Enjoy an evening of good ol’ Texas fun as the residents of Doublewide, Texas work to double their population in order to keep their newly-formed town incorporated and prepare for a manger-scene competition against the neighboring towns of Fayro, Tugaloo, Sweetgum, and Tinsel.
Other performances will be a matinee at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 9, and evening performances at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, December 10, 11, 12, and 13. Tickets for those performances can be purchased at the door for $10 for adults and $8 for Senior Citizens (65+) and Students.
