The Fort Stockton ISD Board of Education's agenda for a 6 p.m. Aug. 15 special meeting includes consideration of a new bond measure on the November 5, 2019 ballot.
The Pioneer has not received a reply from phone calls and e-mails to the Fort Stockton ISD office.

School Board member Anastacio "Nacho" Dominguez said that things are in the "planning stage" at the moment. He said that in additions to repairs at the district's campus, the board could consider a new intermediate school campus and moving forward with the long-discussed construction of teacher housing.
He did not have any dollar amounts specific to the bond.
Dominguez said class sizes in grades 7 and under are around 200 students each with the classroom capacity meant for around 150.
If the school board approves the placing the bond on the ballot, voters would still have to decide its fate.
School board member Freddie Martinez responded that "you should come to meeting" when ask about the details by phone. When told that information was being sought ahead of the meeting, he said he would reach out to the superintendent and call back. As of 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, no cal has been received.
Board member Sandra Marquez said that she reviews the meeting information the night before and has not yet looked at the specific information.
Board member Tom Ezell was out until Thursday morning.
Emails were sent Wednesday afternoon to Board President Billy Espino, Vice President Flo Garcia III, and Board member Andy Rivera.
