The Pioneer is attempting to gather information and local Easter Sunday services in Pecos County.

Some churches are doing a "drive in" approach.

We'd like to have a list together to share with the community.

Pleas send the following information to steve.fountain@fortstocktonpioneer.com:

• Church name

• Address for service

• Type of service (instructions regarding social distancing, etc.)

• Start time

• Listening options (social media, web site, radio, etc.)

Please include a contact name and umber in case we have a question.

Here are the services we have so far:

• First Presbyterian Church’s worship team will lead 11:00 a.m. worship live each Sunday for all listening to KFST 860 AM or their website during this time of social distancing. Bulletins are available at 1stpresfs.org. Both Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday services will include  the Sacrament of Our Lord’s Supper. The entire community is invited to participate from home. The church office has individual communion sets for all.  To avoid social contact  worshippers are invited to participate using their own juice/wine and bread they have on hand.

• Ministerial Alliance Sunrise Service: 7:15 a.m. from Zero Stone Park.Public may watch service from their cars parked around the park. The service will be broadcast on radio on KFST. The Pioneer will live stream the service on its Facebook page.
