This weekend, Pecos Roadhouse silently closed its doors permanently.
On the front doors of the establishment, management posted a notice for the public, reading:
“Patrons of Pecos Roadhouse:
Pecos Roadhouse opened in 2013 with the aim of providing good food, good service, and a fun atmosphere. Unfortunately, Pecos Roadhouse has not consistenly met the level of quality that we desire. Therefore, we have determined it is bst to close our doors and focus our time and resources on ventures that can provide the quality service and benefit that the community of Fort Stockton deserves. We have enjoyed serving you these many years and are grateful for your patronage.
Please direct all inquiries to (972) 590-9966.
Business Manager Chris Sturdevant was contacted for comment, and stated Pecos Roadhouse closed on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 4 or 4:30 p.m. No further comment was made, and there was no word on what the future use of the building may be.
