A look at the people and business in Pecos County

Fort Stockton is known for its good, authentic Mexican food, but a new food truck is coming to shake up the game.

Z Fusion Twist is bringing a mixture of Thai food, Vietnamese and Korean BBQ with a twist.

“Whatever tastes good, I cook it,” said Paul Manosinh.

Paul is opening the restaurant with his wife, Q, and 10-year-old daughter, Zoey.

After moving to Fort Stockton six years ago from Dallas, they have decided to put down their roots and stay in the city.

Paul is the chef in the family who spends his free time creating dishes and playing around with flavors.

“We're food enthusiasts,” said Q.

They realized quickly the lack of diversity when it came to food locally and, since Zoey wants to stay in town, they decided to open up their food truck.

“I have too many friends and I don't want to leave them,” said Zoey.

The Manosinh's plan on gauging the public interest and in a year or so opening a physical location for their takeout.

Their home cooked food will feature different flavors melded together to create spicy and sweet masterpieces.

One of those items is something they call “Z Wings” which are chicken wings in different spices.

They will also have pad Thai, chicken fried rice, pineapple fried rice, fried gyoza with a unique chili lemon sauce and shaking beef.

They will have their first appearance on Saturday, June 8, at Ace Home Center, 2100 W. Dickinson Blvd. from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again at 5 p.m. until they run out of food.

They have a Facebook page that has garnered a lot of interest with people anxiously awaiting the change of food.

“We're excited with them,” said Q.

This will be their full time venture, so plan to be able to get Asian cuisine during the week as well as weekends.

“We are going to invest 100 percent into this,” said Paul.

They will give 10 percent off to government law enforcement and military with their ID's.

Q and Paul have been together around 20 years and have traveled everywhere trying food and different cultures.

“You have to try the food, it is really good,” said Paul.

The Manosinh's love the close knit community of Fort Stockton and hope everyone will come and support them.
