Pecos County Historical Commission Elects New Officers, Issues Resolution on Groundwater, Posts New Web Site


The Pecos County Historical Commission elected officers for the 2019-2020 term at its recent meeting. Ernest Woodward was re-elected as the organization’s president, while Oscar Gonzalez will serve as treasurer, with Kirby Warnock being re-elected as secretary.

The organization also passed a resolution urging groundwater preservation and conservation for future generations, and completed a new web site that will serve as a source for people wanting to learn more about the history of Pecos County.
