The Pecos County Commissioners Court decided to reopen its office to public with full staffing by its employees. Under its emergency order, the county had closed the doors of all county offices and we servicing public needs online, over the phone or by appointment. In addition, staff was rotating work shifts throughout the week.
Pecos County Judge Joe Shuster said that county staff will be required to wear a mask when meeting in person with the public. County offices will also require anyone entering the building to wear a mask.
He said employees would not be required to wear a mask otherwise in the office.
