The Fort Stockton High School boys cross country team took second place at the 4A District 2 meet held Monday, Oct. 14. The finish earns the team a spot in the Oct. 28 Regional Meet in Lubbock.
The team of Dylan Jeter, Kendrick Porras, Fabian Perez, Juan Vela, Connor Miller, Joaquin Armendariz. and Andrew Rangel all ran well and met the challenge with improved times. Jeter was the top finisher, earning a medal for top ten and finishing the 3.3 mile course inb 19:29.
For the girls, Raquelle Bernal qualified for the Regional meet by finishing 4th overall with a time of 14:39 for a 2.2 mile course.
