Palileo leaving Pioneer with a 10-year legacy

Publisher Pam Palileo is leaving the Fort Stockton Pioneer to head Fort Stockton Insurance at 901 W. Dickinson Blvd (right of West Texas State Bank). Palileo made the announcement of her resignation at the last Rotary Club meeting this month. With the news now public, the Pioneer staff has shared their sentiments:

“Pam is the best boss I have ever had 21 years I have been in  the work field. She is going to be missed terribly” - Sommer Jackson, Office Manager.

“At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by another person. Each of us has cause to think deep with gratitude of those who have lightened the flame within us. Thank you for sharing your light and inspiring us all.” - Denise Ramirez, Advertising Sales.

“Pam is one of the best people I’ve ever had the luck to work with and know personally. She is a very dedicated individual, and a hilarious one, too! Work never feels like actual work with her around, and she can always bring a smile to anyone’s face. Spending time with her has been such a privilege, and I’m so happy that she’s been given such a great opportunity. Pam deserves that, and more!” - Bethany Gaylor, Staff Reporter.

“Cheers to Pam and her 10-year legacy. I admire all of her achievements with the newspaper, and I’m excited to see her excel at Fort Stockton Insurance. I wish her only the best. The Pioneer staff is truly a close-knit family, so we will still be in touch. We will still be very close to Pam. I'm going to miss all the inside jokes and hearing her shout 'Tomato Soup" from down the hall. Love you Pam!” - Jeremy Gonzalez, Staff Reporter.
