Lidia C. Ochoa of Fort Stockton passed away Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, in Odessa at the age of 83 years. She was born on Feb. 20, 1934, in Mexico to Cecilio Carrasco and Francisca Granados Carrasco.
Ochoa is survived by her son, Roberto Hernandez; her daughter, Lidia Acosta; her two brothers; her one sister; her twelve grandchildren; her nineteen great-grandchildren; and her five great-great-grandchildren.
Ochoa is preceded in death by her parents, Cecilio Carrasco and Francisca Granados Carrasco; her husband, Roberto Hernandez Valenzuela; her three brothers; her two sisters; and her daughters, Zulena Fierro, Aide Berrera, and Mireya Hernandez.
Pallbearers were: Francisco Ramos, Jesus Fierro, Guadalupe Fierro, Arian Villa, Israel Ortega, and Pedro Salazar.
Visitation was Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton. Jesus Guevara officiated. Funeral Service was Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, beginning at 2 p.m. at Templo Triunfo de la Fe in Fort Stockton. Burial followed at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
