Hazardous Weather Outlook issued for area

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Fort Stockton and surrounding areas starting today through Monday.

According to the NWS, there is a marginal risk of thunderstorms today with hail possible.

Heavy rain is forecast with flash flooding possible Wednesday.

Temperatures Tuesday will be around 72 degrees.

Tuesday Night: Showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could be severe and produce heavy rainfall. Low around 54. East wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Wednesday: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Cloudy, with a high near 66. Northeast wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 52. North wind 5 to 15 mph becoming southwest after midnight.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 83.

Thursday: NightClear, with a low around 57.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 84.

Friday: NightMostly clear, with a low around 59.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 92.

Saturday: NightMostly cloudy, with a low around 63.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 94.

Sunday: NightMostly cloudy, with a low around 64.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 91.
