The Fort Stockton High School Theatre Arts department presents “Foiled by an Innocent Maid,” a comedic melodrama by Fred Carmichael. The special one-night only performance of this years’ one-act play is on Thursday, March 8 at 7 p.m. in the FSHS auditorium. Admission is free and doors open at 6:30 p.m.
“Foiled by an Innocent Maid” is a hilarious, family-friendly old-fashioned melodrama complete with an evil moustache-twisting villain, a dashing hero, several damsels in distress and a sweet but spunky heroine who saves the day.
FSHS Theatre’s production is directed by theatre teacher and director Emily Olson and stars Audrey Gonzalez, Devon Anderson, Emily Gonzalez, Mallorie Crenshaw, Qiara Alvarez and Valerie Olson. The stage manager is Mikayla Alvarez and crew members are Angelina Herrera, Reyna Gonzalez, Sara Jo Duarte and Johnessa Evans.
These FSHS students will be traveling to Seminole High School on Friday, March 9 to present the play at the District UIL One-Act Play contest. Come enjoy this zany comedy and cheer on these great students before their contest.
