A fatal accident on Monday, Nov. 11 claimed the life of 20-year-old Harley Crenshaw of Fort Stockton.
According to the Fort Stockton Police Department, the accident happened around 6:18 p.m. near Highway 285 and the I-10 access road when the car driven by Crenshaw failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with a white Dodge pickup in its travel lane.
Chief Robert Lujan said that Crenshaw's vehicle didn't clear the intersection and she was transported to the hospital, where she later died.
The driver of the pickup was uninjured and denied medical attention at the scene.
“We are continuing our investigation,” said Lujan.
