Fort Stockton Police have shooting suspect in custody


Fort Stockton Police Chief Ryan Skelton reported at 11:35 a.m. that Vincent Reyes in in custody.

Around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, Fort Stockton Police Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 200 Block of South Kansas in reference to an investigation into multiple shootings during the night and a subject who had been run down by a vehicle.

As the stop was made, the suspect ran and officers gave chase. The suspect is at large in the area.

This area is located around the Fort Stockton Intermediate School. Officers are looking for this subject, Vincent Reyes. During the course of the incident a weapon believed to be used during the shootings was recovered and a second suspect was arrested. Please help us find Mr. Reyes.

FORT STOCKTON INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL WILL NOT START CLASSES UNTIL AT LEAST 10 A,M. TODAY as police seek a suspect is a series of shootings who is believed to be in the area of the school.

Residents are asked to contact the police if they see the suspect, or have information about his whereabouts. The suspect is Vincent Reyes (see photo).
