Sinful Sisters and Fallen Floozies are coming to Fort Stockton on January 16 and 17 to perform their original musical about women in the Bible. The Northwood Presbyterian Church musical group is being sponsored by Fort Stockton Community Theatre (FSCT).
Performances will be at First Christian Church at 200 S. Rio St. on Saturday, Jan. 16, at 7 p.m. and then at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, at First Presbyterian Church, 202 N. Oklahoma St. The show is totally non-denominational but is performed in church sanctuaries because of copyright laws covering some of the songs that are used in the show. Everyone is invited to come enjoy seeing Biblical characters depicted in song.
Tickets are $10 for adults or $5 for students or those over 65. Tickets may be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce, or tickets may be purchased at the door just prior to the performances. People are welcome to attend whichever performance is convenient for them.
Before the show on Sunday, there will be a homemade lasagna lunch, prepared by FSCT board members, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall. The meal is $10 per plate and will include homemade lasagna, salad, homemade bread, and dessert. All proceeds go to the Fort Stockton Community Theatre’s new building fund.
Plan to attend an evening or afternoon of musical entertainment.
