The free holiday meal is hosted by area agencies and plates are limited to a first come first served basis.
It started out just being for hospice, nursing home and meals on wheels but they opened it up to everyone.
“It is basically funded through sponsorships,” said Organizer Cindy Melendez.
The fire department runs the kitchen, the Lions and Rotary clubs help serve the meals and the Fort Stockton High School band and choir provides entertainment.
“They're great, they do it every year and they are amazing,” said Melendez.
They are on year 16 of the the Feast of Sharing, serving around 1,000 people last year.
“We are blessed to have a lot of volunteers,” said Melendez.
