County to go out for bids on roadwork materials


During their regular meeting on Monday, Feb. 12, the Pecos County Commissioners’ Court discussed going out for bids for materials used for road repair and other uses.

The court approved the call for bids for 10,000 tons of crushed limestone, crushed aggregate, and aggregate. The court also approved a call for bids for 100,000 gallons of CSS-IH Emulsion, CRS-2 Emulsion, and AC-20-5TR.

Each of the bids were required to include freight charges for delivery to Fort Stockton, Iraan, Imperial, and Coyanosa in the price. The bids must be submitted to the Pecos County Auditor’s Office by 4 p.m. on March 7. The bids are set to be awarded in court on March 12.
