CANCELLED: Popovich's Comedy Pet Theater nixes FSHS show due to poor ticket sales


The Popovich Comedy Pet Theater show scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17 at the Fort Stockton High School Auditorium has been cancelled due to poor early ticket sales.

Ticket prices were listed at $15 for children, children ages 3 and under are free for a lap seat, $20 for seniors over 65-years-old, $25.50 for military discount, $30 for adults.

The show features rescued dogs and cats who show off their skills alongside talented humans who perform European-style acts, juggling and acrobatics.

Gregory Popovich's act was a finalists on “America's Got Talent,” and were guests on television shows hosted by Jay Leno, David Letterman and Craig Ferguson., as well as the Animal Planet cable channel.

Popovich is a master animal trainer who employs positive-reinforcement techniques in his training — coaching individual animals to perform tasks based on their natural habits.
