Food distribution is also in place at Fort Stockton Intermediate School on 2nd Street. Three drive-thru lines are set up to distribute breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is being served Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Children have to be present to receive meals.
School officials ask those seeking meal service to complete an online form at http://bit.ly/FSISDMealCount. The information will help the school prepare the proper amount of meals, as well as to be in position to collect state or federal reimbursement should funds be made available.
First Baptist Church of Fort Stockton is providing bagged lunches for children from noon to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Curbside pickup is off the 5th Street entrance off of Gillis Street. Children must be present.
