Fort Stockton Community Theatre (FSCT) will host performers from San Antonio’s Northwood Presbyterian Church on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 16 and 17. The performance is an original musical called Sinful Sisters and Fallen Floozies of the Bible, the Matriarchs. There’s no story like their story.
Performances will be at First Christian Church, 200 S. Rio St. on Saturday, Jan. 16, at 7 p.m. and at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, at First Presbyterian Church, 202 N. Oklahoma St.
The show is non-denominational but is performed in church sanctuaries because of copyright laws covering some of the songs that are used in the show. Everyone is invited to come enjoy seeing Biblical characters depicted in song.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students or those over 65. Tickets may be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce, or tickets may be purchased at the door just prior to the performances.
People are welcome to attend whichever performance is convenient for them.
On Sunday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., a homemade lasagna lunch prepared by FSCT board members will be available for $10 a plate in the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall. The meal will include homemade lasagna, salad, homemade bread, and dessert. All proceeds go to FSCT’s new building fund.
