BASKETBALL: Alpine 56, Panthers 54

The Fort Stockton Panthers Varsity traveled to Alpine on Thursday, January 2nd to tip off against the Bucks and fell in an intense game, 56-54. The Panthers battled back from being down as much as 15 in the first half, with Dominic Aguilar leading the charge with 18 points. The Panthers will be back at home tomorrow to play the Big Spring Steers at 5. 

The Fort Stockton Panthers JV team took on Alpine on Thursday, January 2nd in Alpine and came away with a 53-33 defeat. Dillon Johnson had his best game of the season finishing with 8 points. The Panthers will play Big Spring at home tomorrow at 3:30. 

 The Fort Stockton Panthers 9th grade Blue team traveled to Alpine on Thursday, January 2nd to take on the Bucks and were defeated 49-37. Johan Mireles had a strong game knocking down four treys to finish with 12 points, while Isaiah Garcia finished with 11. The Panthers will be back at home tomorrow to play Big Spring at 2.
