Prepare for grape growing season by monitoring bud break by varietal type, advising on herbicide and fertilizer plan, monitor flowering and pollination, and execute new plantings.  Oversee grape growth & maturity. Prepare trellises & clean rows for harvest; remove leaves; manage irrigation; advise on fertilizer, herbicide, and pesticide plans based on vineyard conditions. Pick grapes manually & advise team that uses harvesting equip. Exposure to extreme elements. Lifting requirement: 50 lbs. Repetitive movements. Extensive pushing and pulling.  Extensive walking. Frequent stooping. $12.45/hr. Tools/supplies/equip provided at no cost.  Work guaranteed for at least 3/4 of total work days for the contract period.  Transport & subsistence expenses to worksite provided/paid by employer upon 50% work contract completion or earlier, if appropriate. Housing provided at no cost for worker who cannot reasonably return to perm residence at workday end.
